What is THCa?
THCa, or Tetrahydrocannabinolic Acid, is a naturally occurring compound in Hemp and a precursor to THC. In its raw form, THCa is non-psychoactive, but it turns into THC through decarboxylation, which happens when THCa gets exposed to heat. When vaped or smoked, THCa becomes psychoactive, which can get you high. However, how much THC comes from THCa depends on the amount of heat, quality, and strain.
What is Hemp-Compliant Delta-9 THC?
“Hemp-Compliant” refers to the THC percentage in a Hemp-derived product. Under the Farm Bill, Hemp products can’t contain more than 0.3% Delta-9 THC, and the THC needs to be sourced from the Hemp plant, not from the Marijuana plant. Each product in our Ghost Extrax collection is made from premium Hemp that contains less than 0.3% of Delta-9 THC by dry weight. In addition, each product that we listed on our site has less than 0.3% of THC.
What is 9-Hydroxy-THC?
The 9-Hydroxy-THC cannabinoid is a chemical your body naturally produces when you consume THC. However, we managed to isolate this chemical to allow your body to absorb more.
